Vaginal Birth After Caesarian Workshop

Honoring our stories
Finding our voices

The intention of this workshop is to provide a safe and confidential environment for women preparing for VBAC to discuss their hopes and fears and to develop emotional and cognitive strategies for embracing the birth process.

This six hour workshop will include time to discuss your history, hopes and fears about labor and your birth experiences, and strategies for embracing the birth process that lies ahead.

My Body. My Story.
Participants have an opportunity to explore the stories of their previous birth(s), and how their birth histories impact their approach to their upcoming labors.

Engaging My Fears.
Participants will discuss their thoughts, feelings and fears about the birth process, and collaboratively create strategies to acknowledge, engage and honor their fears.

Imagining Birth.
Participants will have the opportunity to discuss the tension between hope for a successful VBAC and acceptance of birth by Caesarian, and to acknowledge the group process that has been shared with other participants.

Vancouver VBAC Mama is not currently offering any workshops. Please visit http://www.powertopush.ca/  for information on VBAC.
